  6. Summer Bible Study  There will be a Bible Study led by the Rev. Suzanne Schafer-Coates (our Parish Associate and Meadow Lakes Minister) in the Church Library at 7:00 p.m. on five Monday nights this summer: July 10, 17, 24, 31 & August 7. The study is one of Adam Hamilton's. It's not a Bible Study, as such, although it is based on the Bible, and uses Biblical texts as we wrestle with the topics of the study. The study is called: "HALF TRUTHS, God Helps Those Who Help Themselves and Other Things the Bible Doesn't Say."

    The lessons are:
    1) Everything Happens for a Reason,
    2) God Helps Those Who Help Themselves,
    3) God Won't Give You More Than You Can Handle,
    4) God Said It, I Believe It, That Settles It,
    5) Love the Sinner, Hate the Sin.
I look forward to you joining us. It will be fun!

So we ask all our very kind donors to consider giving one or more family size boxes of cereal this month. And, of course, if you'd like to donate other sorts of food as well, here's our list of all-time favorites:

PEANUT BUTTER, PASTA (all varieties), CEREAL (not too much sugar, please), GRAPE JELLY, PASTA SAUCE, CANNED TUNA FISH, CANNED SOUP, CANNED FRUIT, CANNED BEANS (all varieties)

Please drop items at the church office or in the wheel barrow outside the Sanctuary during church on Sunday. NO OUT-OF-DATE food can be accepted. Thank you.
  11. Trenton Area Soup Kitchen (TASK) The first Thursday of every month volunteers serve the evening meal at TASK. We leave the church in the church van at 2:30 p.m. and return by 5:30 p.m. It is a great way to serve God and others. No experience necessary, just a heart to serve.
