Senior Fellowship News

Senior Fellowship is a club open to all seniors in the community age 55 and over. Our goal is to provide opportunities for seniors with social, recreational and educational experiences. Senior Fellowship meets regularly for fun, food and friendship. We have a wonderful group and would like to have you join us and get to know other people in the community. There are no dues and there is no charge for any activity. We do one or two programs a month which are held during the day in the Fellowship Hall. Our activities include speakers, movies, picnics, trips to gardens, concerts, museums and various holiday parties.

A second part of Senior Fellowship is our senior exercise class program. One class meets on Monday from 10-11 AM, a second class meets on Thursday with a different instructor from 10-11 AM. We presently have openings in both classes. The is no charge for these exercise classes

Opportunity for Service
Senior Fellowship is a great mission of our church that tries to create a sense of community for senior citizens. This program is run totally by volunteers. For this program to continue, we need your help. We could use people who are not senior citizens as well as senior citizens to be on the programs and trips planning committee. We meet about 5 times a year at 10:00 a.m. in the library on a day most of us agree upon to select trip destinations or program speakers. We make a yearly schedule and plan the details. Committee members help by setting tables, distributing beverages and assisting people as needed or acting as chaperones on trips. You do not need to help with all the trips, just what you can fit into your schedule. Our programs and trips are on weekdays and range from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. depending on the program. If you would like to join our committee, please contact Connie Bauder or the church office at 609-395-0897 and we will contact you.

Senior Fellowship has had a wonderful year of programs and trips. Connie Bauder, coordinator of Senior Fellowship, would like to give thanks to the following members of the Senior Fellowship Committee who make it possible for the Senior Fellowship mission of this church to flourish. Please give your thanks to them for doing God's work; Bill Bauder, Nancy Chonko, Dennis Chonko, Joan Fraser, Anita McManus, Jean Randazzo, Audrey Smith, Larry White and Heidi Knowlton. Please keep these people in your prayers and join with me in giving thanks for their service.
