If you click a PDF file link directly, your browser will open the PDF file in a new window, but it will download the document to your hard disk as a temporary file first. If it’s one of the larger files, you might think your computer is locked up when it’s just busy downloading the file. It’s probably better to right click the link & save the PDF file directly to your hard drive, so you can quickly reopen it if you want to refer back to it later.

If you prefer, you can view the original JPG files. The advantage is that the JPG files are much higher resolution than the images in the PDF files. The disadvantage is slow scrolling thru the images and the time wasted loading images you don’t want to see. You can quickly jump to page 42 or whatever as long as you know in advance that is the page you want to look at. Overall, it’s probably best to download the PDF first, so you can scroll thru the pages quickly. If you need a better look at page 42, come back & look at the original JPG image. You can also download any JPG file by right clicking & saving to your hard disk.
