FAQs
Some basic information about our church.
On South Main Street in Cranbury, caddy-corner to the historic Cranbury Inn. The Sanctuary sits under our tall steeple. The fellowship hall, church courtyard, and classrooms are beside the Sanctuary. Our church office building is at 22 South Main Street, next to the fellowship hall.
Parking can be found in the parking lot behind the church, or on the street in front of the church. Handicap spots are reserved in front of the Sanctuary on Sunday mornings. For worship, come to the Sanctuary. The doors open to Main Street, under the tall steeple. You’ll find a greeter waiting to welcome you and answer any questions you may have.
Many of our week day programs take place in the fellowship hall/classrooms, which you’ll find through the double doors to the right as you’re looking at the front of the church building.
Our office is located in the little white house beside the church, at 22 S Main Street, and is open during the week.
We hope to be a “come-as-you-are” kind of church, but many of us come from a tradition that requires us to dress in our “Sunday best.” So, you’ll find worshippers in all sorts of attire: from jeans to suits, dressy casual to business professional. And, you’ll always find Pastor Hannah in heels, because that’s how she’s most comfortable. So, you too should come as you’re most comfortable.
Children are welcome in worship!
We have worship bags and coloring pages and children’s bulletin’s available in the back of the sanctuary to help children (of all ages) worship alongside adults. Children are invited to come to the front of the Sanctuary for our children’s sermon, where the day’s Scripture lesson is told in a kid-friendly way. Younger children (kindergarten and under, or whatever best suits your child’s comfort) are invited to go to the nursery after the children’s sermon, where childcare is provided.
Infants and toddlers can be dropped off in the nursery before worship, whatever their parents are most comfortable with. Childcare is provided by professionals, with two adults present each Sunday.
Our Sunday School hour is a great way for kids to learn and grow comfortable in church. Learn more about Sunday School here(link).
Coffee Hour is a time for us to continue in the spirit of worship over refreshments and snacks. It follows worship in the fellowship hall or church courtyard and is hosted by different members and church groups. Coffee Hour offers us a time to connect, check in with one another, meet new friends and encourage each other for the week to come.

Membership is both a joy and a privilege. It is a commitment to participate in Christ’s mission. A faithful member bears witness to God’s love and grace and promises to be involved responsibly in the ministry of Christ’s Church. To become a member, share your interest with one of our Pastors or participate in one of our three-week New Members Classes, offered at least once a year as there is an interest. Please contact the office for future dates for these meetings.
Faith is not the absence of doubt. It is belief in spite of doubt. Doubt is caused by unanswered questions. Some doubts go away by simply learning answers to your questions. Try Skeptics' Questions to read about Doubts You Don't Have To Have.
